Government of Balochistan has approved land in Gwadar for the Construction of Shipyard. Construction of shipyard in Gwadar would be another huge development addition to uplift the socio-economic development of Balochistan.
Land Approved for the Construction of Shipyard in Gwadar – Latest Update
On Monday February 3, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has announced the approval of land for the construction of shipyard in Gwadar. He was talking to the Federal Minister for Defence Production Zubeda Jalal in Quetta today.
Few days back, 750 Acres of Land in Pasni was also approved for the construction of Shipyard. Now this is another good news for the overall development and prosperity of province. One after another, Gwadar is Achieving Milestones of Development playing as core for the progress of Balochitsan.
Government believes that the construction of shipyard in Gwadar would boost socio-economic development in province. Balochistan is already undergoing an era of revolutionary development and recently Saudia Shoura has added to it with the Approval of 500MW Renewal Energy Project in Province.
CM Jam Kamal has Vowed to Remove Grievances of Locals of Gwadar and Speedy Development of entire Balochistan. Federal and Provincial Government are keen for the early development of Gwadar and striving to create more job opportunities for the locals. In this regard couple of days back, Ministry of Maritime Affairs has announced the Initiation of Shipping Training for Gwadar Locals.
Turkey Likely to Join CPEC – Latest Update
The journey of CPEC is on its way to escalation with rapid pace and Turkey is likely to join China Pakistan Economic Corridor. While talking to a Turkish TV Channel, Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed optimism about the incorporation of Turkey to CPEC.
He said that next month Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan along with investors and business entities will visit Pakistan and Pakistan is looking forward to this visit with hope.
On January 29, PM Khan also presided a high-level review meeting on CPEC projects. The PM was briefed about progress made during the 1st phase and developments of ongoing project. PM also called CPEC authority and instructed to prioritize the expedite execution of projects in the 2nd stage of CPEC.
He was also informed that majority of projects in the energy and road networks had been concluded whereas work on the Gwadar Port and Gwadar International Airport was under progress phase-wise.
