Africa has positively indicated using Gwadar Port and CPEC to approach markets in Central Asian Republics (CARs) and China. On Sunday February 2, Advisor to PM on Commerce, Industries and Production Abdul Razzaq Dawood unveiled this news while an interview to The News.
Africa having 54 countries with population of 1.2 billion and size of economy at $2.4 trillion has shown willingness to take advantage of Gwadar Port and CPEC route to ensure access of its products to markets in CARs and China.
The news is really huge for emerging port city and developing province of Balochistan which is directly beneficent for each development and progress happening on the port.
Government Directs to Fast Track Works on Gwadar Smart City Master Plan – Latest Update
The first phase of development as per Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan is underway. Developments in Gwadar are advancing with every passing day and authorities want to see Gwadar as a fully functional city as soon as possible.
In this regard, a high level meeting was held between high-ups of GDA and Chief Minister Balochistan who is also performing as chairman of GDA’s Board of Governors. CM Jam Kamal Alyani presided the meeting and guided governing bodies to fast track development works on Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan.
GDA’s governing body has approved rates of fee and taxes to be imposed on different sectors in the port city with some amendments and updated CM regarding that. CM directed to ensure smooth licensing of private firms, environmental protection, and provision of energy resources while accomplishing the city master plan.
Inauguration of Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Quetta Balochistan – Latest Update
Federal Government is working for the unprecedented Development of Balochistan equipping it with all facilities one after another. The inauguration of Cancer Block of Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Quetta is scheduled on 4th February.
CM Jam Kamal Khan will do inauguration of this cancer block in order to facilitate the locals of Balochistan. This 2 unit hospital of 40 beds will be completed in two years with cost of around 16 Million Rupees. Cancer block will be equipped with all modern medical facilities for the provision of state of the art treatments to the people of Balochistan.
