Ongoing Education and Health Projects in Gwadar – Latest Development Review

Gwadar is undergoing a revolutionary development and each day its progress is assessed by high-ups. Recently Chief Minister Balochistan held a high level meeting to review GDA’s matters and development progress in Port City specifically the ongoing education and health projects in Gwadar.

Chief Minister Chairs Meeting to Review Development Progress in Gwadar

On Thursday January 23, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal chaired a high level meeting to assess the development progress in Gwadar and the work pace of GDA. Several government officials and high-ups attended the meeting and Director General Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Shah Zaib Kakar briefed the conference.

GDA’s Report on Development Progress in Gwadar – Latest Update

DG GDA Shah Zaib Kakar briefed CM and the attendants about the ongoing development and progress of work done by GDA. He said that work on Gwadar Old City’s Town planning, Irrigation, supply of water and pavement of roads was being continued.

While informing about the water supply program, Shah Zaib Kakar told that as the installation of pipeline from Sour Dam to Gwadar is been done, water supply has now been started in area. He further told that all small and large schemes of Gwadar are being connected with road network and 90 High-Rise Buildings can be constructed in Port City.

He also informed that construction of building for trauma center at cost of Rs. 100 million and building of DHQ Hospital worth of Rs. 150 million is being launched. Football ground and sports complex would be established in Gwadar while Sunset Point Park would be completed at Koh-e-Batal in this year.

The meeting was told that construction of Park and installation of streetlights in the Newtown Housing Scheme are in progress.

CM Jam Kamal Instructed GDA for timely Completion of Development

Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan instructed concerned officials about the early and timely completion of ongoing development on projects. He commended the speed of development saying that Gwadar is now on its way to pragmatic development and soon it will become one of most developed cities across globe.

He directed Gwadar Water Treatment Plant to be used commercially for water parks, car-washes, and construction works and spending its income to run the plant. CM Jam Kamal also ordered that recruitment of vacant posts in health and education departments would be appointed as merit basis in Gwadar for interest of people.
