Inauguration of Water Supply Pipeline in Gwadar

Recently on August 23, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Alyani did Inauguration of Water Supply Pipeline in Gwadar. It’s a great stone mile achieved to overcome shortage of water in Gwadar. So far hassle free water provision was the only difficulty for Gwadar inhabitants. Now as the water supply pipeline is being inaugurated in Gwadar, it’s all set as a perfect residence.

Chief Minister Jam Kamal Inaugurates Water Supply Pipeline in Gwadar

On Friday August 23 Chief Minister Balochistan inaugurated Water Supply Pipeline in Gwadar. This Water Supply Pipeline to Gwadar City from Sod Dam costs Rs 4 Billion. Water Supply Pipeline to Gwadar City will provide 5 million gallons of water.

With this water supply pipeline to Gwadar, Chief Minister Jam Kamal also inaugurated various constructed roads and Gwadar Degree College’s Admin block under Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) in Gwadar.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Shinzani Dam which cost is estimated Rs 50 crore and it would be completed in two years. The Shinazi Dam will have capacity to store almost sixteen thousand acre feet of water in it and about five thousand acre feet of water will be used for agriculture in Gwadar.

Chief Minister expressed his views that it is a milestone for overall development of Gwadar after completion of these projects especially water supplying project. People of Gwadar would be relieved from provision of water through pipeline and shortage of water would be ended in the area.

He said construction of roads would provide better transportation facilities to remote and urban people in Gwadar. Jam Kamal directed concerned officials to early complete construction of Shadi Cor-Dam for provision of water to citizens through pipelines in order to save them from tanker mafia.

Gwadar is developing into a well-equipped and maintained residence and with the launch of Gwadar New Master Plan these development activities are going to pick up pace.
