As soon as CPEC is heading towards accomplishment, the megaproject is receiving more admiration and investment offers. CPEC is creating endless economic opportunities and Korean major brands are keen to explore them. Recently Razaq Dawood (PM’s advisor on Commerce and Industry), during his visit to Seoul talked about the steps taken by the government to improve ‘Ease of doing business’ index, and urged Korean companies to get maximum fruits from China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Advisor to PM talked with heads of multiple Korean companies’ i.e. Lotte Group, Daelim, Daewoo E&C, K-Water, Korea Railway Network Authority (KRNA), Korea Energy (KOEN), Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (KHNP), Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND) and Korea Importers Association (KOIMA).
Korean Importers Delegation to Visit Pakistan
During his visit in Seoul, Mr. Razaq Dawood also offered establishing exclusive economic zone for Korean companies under CPEC. Both sides resolved to address the bilateral trade and investment bottlenecks to enhance the economic cooperation between South Korea and Pakistan. In this regard, a Korean buying delegation of importers will visit Pakistan in coming months.
The big Korean companies are interested to invest in different projects relating to manufacturing of technology equipment. Korean businessmen are showing keen interest to invest in CPEC owing to huge investment opportunities.
